local events and any other local purpose you can think of.
Before placing your advertisement, you are required to agree to the terms set out below.
General matters
Before registering you must agree that:

All content is subject to moderation by a Placenames.com.au administrator.

You must treat the views of other advertisers/users with respect.

You must not use any obscene, indecent, threatening or offensive language.

You must not post any material that may be defamatory or obscene.

You must not post any material that is misleading or deceptive, or is likely to mislead or deceive.

Consistent bad language, or inappropriate use of CAPITAL LETTERS may result in you being either banned or suspended.

Placenames.com.au reserves all rights to edit or remove any content that is posted, for any reason including that Placenames.com.au
considers the content to be defamatory, abusive, threatening, discriminating or otherwise unlawful, false or misleading or an infringement

When you create an advertisement on Placenames.com.au, you acknowledge and agree that the views, comments, opinions and statements
expressed are your own and not necessarily those of Placenames.com.au or other advertisers.

The administrator will endeavour to remove or edit any material that is deemed inappropriate or objectionable for any reason. However,
it may not always be possible to do this immediately. This may cause a delay in content being posted.

Breach of the rules of usage may lead to suspension or banning from the site, at Placenames.com.au's discretion. Placenames.com.au may
inform your service provider if conduct is illegal.

The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these rules. You acknowledge and agree that Placenames.com.au has the
right to remove, edit, move or close any advertisement at any time at its discretion. As a user you agree to any information you have
entered, including personal information, being stored in a database by Placenames.com.au. While this information will not be disclosed
to any third party without your consent Placenames.com.au is not responsible if the data is compromised by a third party.

information you have entered; they serve only to improve your viewing experience. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your
registration details and password (and for sending passwords should you forget) and renewal notices.

Registration and login
To register with Placenames.com.au advertisers/users must provide a current email address.
Placenames.com.au may refuse registration of those advertisers/users whose email addresses are considered inappropriate. Grounds for
refusal may include:

Incitement;

Copyright infringement;

Brand names or registered trademarks;

Company or organisation names;

Names of high profile or public figures; or

Advertising fee
The fee payable to Placenames.com.au allows you to place an advertisement and change it as many times as you like during the period of
the advertisement.
Please note that no refunds will be given if you deactivate an advertisement and do not reuse the space.
Email services
The email services offered by Placenames.com.au are subject to the following limitations:
- Email size - maximum 3mb; and

Inbox size - maximum 50mb.
Placenames.com.au does not guarantee that email addresses will remain available if they are not renewed or if Placenames.com.au sells its
interest in the website or the email services. In such circumstances, Placenames.com.au will not be liable to you for any loss or damage
(including consequential loss or damage).
Applicable law
These terms and all other specific and additional terms which govern your use or membership of and access to Placenames.com.au are
governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
Changes to these terms of use
Placenames.com.au may at any time change these terms of use by giving you seven days' notice by way of email or a posting on the website.
